Little miss Olivia was a bit older than what I usually photograph. I like to photograph newborns between 3 to 10 days old. Then they are still in the curled up sleepy stage. However miss Olivia did great for her session! I will let Olivia's mommy tell you about her session.
The one in the light pink material draped over her and gathered up behind her.
Fantastic, Lisa was very patient and laid back.
What’s one piece of advice you would give to other mothers for the session?
Pick a time of day for the session when your baby typically sleeps. Try to get the session done in the first 2 weeks.
What’s one piece of advice you’d give to other parents having a session including their other children?
The sooner you can get the session done do it. In the first few weeks of life babies don't care who is holding them. As they get older they tend to prefer mommy.
None. I took a couple headbands. Newborn sessions are best nude to capture that purity. Lisa has a wide selection of material for newborn sessions. She asked if I had a color preference and we went from there.
Any tips on how to prepare for the session?
Have baby fed a full belly makes for a happy and sleepy baby.
Any tips on what to bring?
Anything you would like to personalize the photos with, headband, ballet slippers, baseball glove, football ect. whatever would tie your family into the photos.
I brought the hot pink and purple headbands to the session. I bought them at Walmart. The rest of the props headband, material etc. was provided by Lisa.
What were you most anxious, nervous or fearful about prior to your session and what was the outcome?
That Olivia would not cooperate. Lisa did a great job soothing her off to sleep and was so patient in waiting while we took nursing breaks.
What prompted you to choose this studio for your photography needs?
Lisa takes beautiful pictures, I couldn't think of better person to photograph my little princess.
Thank you Bob, Jenelle, Tanner, Austin, Kayli & Olivia for being such great friends and for giving me the honor of photographing your family over the years!
